Beekeeping--Level II

Are you ready to learn more about managing your honeybee colonies? Are you interested in maximizing your honey harvest and exploring integrated pest management techniques? If your answer is yes, then join us for this in-depth workshop on year-round management for your honeybee colony. We'll briefly discuss basic honeybee biology and ideal hive setup, then explore common honeybee diseases and pests, how and when to treat your colonies, and how to ensure the highest survival rate over our wet seasons. Prerequisite: Beginning Beekeeping or some experience keeping honeybees.
