Much of the Pacific Northwest today was shaped by floods in the past. Join us for a discussion on the Missoula floods and the Columbia River Flood Basalts--the result of a flood of basalt lava. You'll find out why the Columbia River Flood Basalt is there, along with its original heat source and why its heat source is still active today. Learn how the Ice Age Missoula Floods cut today's channeled scablands 16,000 years ago and see drone footage of the destruction these floods caused.
