What should come first: publishing your memoir or preserving family relationships? Sometimes writers feel they have to choose--on occasion, they do. This discussion will encourage thoughtful exploration of the memoirist's commitment and responsibility to the project, to their authorial voice and freedoms, and to family members whose private lives may be part of the story. Writers will be invited to share some of their responses to questions presented during the class. Laurel Leigh, MFA, has been a book editor for twenty years. Her memoir and fiction have appeared in The Sun.
We will be emailing virtual classroom access two business days before your class begins; please be sure to register early to ensure you receive this important information. If you have not received login information by the day of your class, please check your spam folder.
