Objects/Clothing/Settings-- À La CarteIn fiction, memoir, or any kind of nonfiction, these can be powerful tools for moving a story forward or for creating strong particular characters. A bottle of whiskey hidden under the bed... well you get the idea. We will look at models and approaches toward using objects, toward dressing our characters (real and fictional), and toward making settings that, rather than being random and casual, are significant to the story.
