India is known for its treats--both savory and sweet, and this class has both. In the savory department, Balabhadra prepares cauliflower pakoras with a spicy tomato tamarind chutney, and potato samosas with fresh mint chutney. You'll have the chance to form samosas the traditional way, so bring an apron! Two easy-to-make sweets will also be presented: melt-in-your-mouth besan ladoo with coconut and pecans, and almond saffron halva--a delicious and exotic semolina and chickpea pudding.
