Come look for and learn about wild salmon in Arroyo Park's Chuckanut Creek. Every fall, up and down the coast, salmon return to their natal streams to spawn--a migration that's vital to local ecosystems and cultures. We'll visit places where salmon frequently congregate and discuss their lifecycle, identification, and importance to the people and nature of the Northwest. Bring a notebook and come prepared for any weather. Please park at the North Chuckanut Trailhead--from there, we'll take the Interurban Trail into the park. Carpooling is encouraged.
