Join instructor Jazmen Yoder for an engaging introduction to botany! This course is designed for adults who are eager to explore the fundamentals of plant science and enhance their plant identification skills. Whether you have a budding interest in biology, gardening, ecology, or simply wish to deepen your understanding of the natural world, this class will provide you with vocabulary and concepts needed to appreciate the diversity and complexity of plants through guided notetaking and memorable hands-on activities. Jazmen Yoder is an outdoor educator and the founder of Northwest Natura. She holds a BS in Evolution, Ecology, and Organismal Biology and specializes in Salish Sea ecology, botany, and teaching adults naturalist and survival skills.
