Interested in reading your work at an open mic and don't know where to start? In this beginner-friendly class, we will discuss good practices when it comes to reading your work in front of a crowd. From pacing and stage fright to audience participation (yes, really), we'll cover all that and more. Grace Schutte, a Pushcart Nominee, is an Alaskan writer, instructor, and open mic menace. She received her MFA from WWU in 2025.
