This course provides intellectual and physical components with emphasis on strategy, intelligence, awareness, and avoidance. Learn observation skills to recognize early warning signs of danger, simple and effective physical techniques to disable an attacker long enough to escape, and more. Real-world scenarios will give you a chance to practice what you learn. Robert Ellsworth, corrections deputy for the Whatcom County Sheriff's Office, has been teaching self-defense for over 20 years. Thirty-minute lunch break provided. Bring a sack lunch and wear comfortable clothes.
