National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) is a month-long virtual noveling event that takes place every November. It's a great way to get that messy first draft on paper! Join Rebecca Agiewich for an evening of planning, goal-setting, and writing prompts to prepare for the roller-coaster of a month ahead. We'll also discuss various aspects of craft, including plot structure and creating memorable characters. Rebecca wrote the first draft of her novel, BreakupBabe, during NaNoWrimo, and has helped students churn out many thousands of words over her years of teaching this class in Seattle and Bellingham.
