Embodied Nature Writing with Jessica Gigot

Robin Wall Kimmerer writes, "As we work to heal the earth, the earth heals us." Translating our experiences in nature-as both observers and fellow creatures-into story can offer comfort as well as insight into our own complex internal landscapes. Looking at a wide range of contemporary environmental and nature writing, this workshop will offer ideas, prompts, and a chance to reflect on our bodies' place in the world. Jessica Gigot is a poet, farmer, and writing coach who lives on a little sheep farm in the Skagit Valley.
