Roll up your sleeves and write a grant with the guidance of experienced grant writer Virginia Lang. From crafting a compelling narrative to creating a budget, you'll work on an actual grant application, receive individualized feedback, and gain the confidence and skills to write grants that get funded! You'll also have the chance to review proposals using stated criteria--just like every grant panel that reviews your requests. Bring a project or nonprofit you want to support, and be prepared to write outside of class. Prerequisite: Grant Writing: Level I or basic knowledge of the grant writing process. Class size is limited--register early!

Ginny Lang is a veteran management consultant who has worked for decades in the corporate sector and the nonprofit community as an advisor on all aspects of community affairs. As the founding director of Lang Consulting, she consults, teaches, speaks, and coaches on topics ranging from public speaking and interview skills to fund development, board effectiveness and volunteer management. She specializes in helping to create win/win relationships between business leaders and mission-driven community organizations.
