Class covers creating workbooks, sorting and filtering data, basic formulas, and the many practical applications for which Excel can be used. Designed for home users, volunteers, nonprofits, or anyone wanting to get started with Excel. Class serves as an excellent foundation for Excel: Level 1.

Heather Qualey

Heather has been using Excel and other Microsoft programs for over 30 years in both personal and professional applications. She has been coaching co-workers, friends, and family members on said applications all along and has also taught basic personal finance seminars from time to time. She loves to help people learn!

Heather worked her way through college and earned a B.S. degree in Finance with honors, then went on to work for 25 years in the financial industry. After retiring, she started working part-time as a tax preparer. Heather enjoys reading, music, movies, and computer games. She travels with her husband and pets in their fFifth-wheel trailer and does bookkeeping for her sister's herbal store in Bellingham.
