Accounting & QuickBooks Series (virtual classroom)

The Accounting and QuickBooks Series comprises two classes--Accounting for Small Business and QuickBooks--for a discounted rate. Learn basic accounting principles that you can apply using a paper ledger (for example, Excel) and accounting software QuickBooks. Leave understanding debits and credits, a chart of accounts, accounts payable and accounts receivable, journal entries, and more! You will be able to accurately enter checks and receipts into your books, reconcile the bank account, and create an income statement and balance sheet. Next explore everything you need to get started with and confidently use QuickBooks Desktop. Learn how to customize forms, track inventory, and more! Leave knowing how to create a new company, build a chart of accounts, invoice customers (including sales tax and discounts), pay bills, generate monthly reports, including income statement and list of accounts receivable, and back up data. Class is conducted live in Zoom and in Canvas.
