Discover how to be a better birder! Topics will include how to buy optics, field guides, and clothing for birding; best feeder foods, practices, and the birder's garden; planning a birding trip, including hazards, places to go, and the best time to view. We'll also take a look at 30 of the most common bird species found in Western Washington during summer, plus lots of fun facts about each species. David Kaynor is a member of the Washington Ornithological Society.
