Beginning Jewelry: A Weekend Workshop

Learn the fundamental techniques of jewelry making in this fun weekend workshop! Over the course of two days, you'll design and fabricate a creative, one-of-a-kind, wearable piece of art from copper and brass sheeting. Instructor Judith Gauthier will provide demonstrations and guidance on annealing, piercing, cutting with a jewelers saw, soldering, texturing, forming, and finally polishing your unique piece. Beginners and those looking for a jewelry-making refresher are encouraged to join us for a weekend of metalsmithing and fun! Please bring a pencil and a sketchbook/notebook.
