Earrings 101

Instructor Leah Meleski invites all skill levels to join her in learning a variety of metalsmithing techniques to create three sets of original earrings, perfect for holiday gift-giving! Starting with wire and sheet metal, you'll turn your materials into either stud or dangle earrings. You'll learn how to use the rolling mill to make simple textured earrings and ear wires, how to shape your earrings using hammers, dapping sets, and more! You'll also discover how to bend simple shapes out of wire and solder them together to make a pair of stud earrings. In the final session, you'll have the opportunity to finish your earrings or make an additional pair using your own design. $20 materials fee payable to instructor at first class session. Class size is limited, so register early!
