This workshop, especially tailored to senior citizens or younger authors hoping to articulate life experiences, will explore ways to express our experiences--present or past--in poetry. We will focus on demystifying craft elements such as form and metaphor. More importantly, we will unlock a natural voice in exploring complex, delightful, or even challenging memories. Instructor Ryler Dustin is author of two poetry collections, most recently the Starrett-Prize winning Trailer Park Psalms.
