Enjoy an Italian staple, lasagna, made by Richard Balogh, executive chef of Rifugio's Country Italian Cuisine. With a Sicilian mother and a Czechoslovakian father, pastas were a staple in Richard's home. While most traditionalists will teach you to mix all ingredients between each layer, Richard will show you how to separate each layer into groups: pasta, Bolognese sauce, Besciamella sauce, fresh mozzarella and Pecorino Romano, fresh herbs, and crushed tomato. The result is harmony in separation--both visually and in taste!
