There are so many possibilities with fermentation! It's a wonderful way to preserve and extend a harvest while adding flavor and nutrition. In this class, we'll use an entire pineapple, rind and all, to create two fermented recipes: pineapple habaƱero hot sauce and pineapple tepache, a refreshing beverage with origins in pre-Columbian Mexico. Each attendee will leave class with both ferments to continue brewing at home. Owner of Bright & Sunny Productions, Miranda is a self-proclaimed fermentation geek who can't wait to share her knowledge of fermented foods.
