East Indian Vegetarian Burrito Bar

Learn to create cleansing foods and beverages using Ayurvedic principles that have been practiced for over 5,000 years. Students will enjoy kitchari--a simple and rejuvenating meal based on basmati rice and mung dal--with cilantro chutney, and will get tips on customizing the basic recipe with vegetables, dates, nuts, seeds, or coconut. Digestive teas, golden milk (using turmeric), and a bliss-inducing almond rose rejuvenation drink will also be served. Juliet Jivanti and Katrina Svoboda Johnson are Certified Ayurvedic Practitioners.
