Introduction to Modern Quilting

Learn how to quilt a cozy covering just in time for the fall weather! Using one of her original designs, instructor Jess Flegel will guide you through measuring and cutting, piecing, basting, quilting, and binding. Learn what makes a quilt "modern," color and pattern selection, and tips for creating your own original quilts. By course end, you'll have assembled a simple quilt top, basted it, and have the skills to add the finishing touches. Bring your sewing machine to class and visit for supply list. Prerequisite: basic sewing skills and working knowledge of your sewing machine. This class offered fall quarter only.
