Life Lines: Writing Poetry from Life Experience

This workshop, open to all and especially tailored for senior citizens or those with significant life experience, will explore ways to express our experiences--present or past--in poetry. We will focus on demystifying craft elements such as form and metaphor. More importantly, we will unlock a natural voice in exploring complex, delightful, or even challenging memories. Instructor Ryler Dustin has been featured on the front page of the Bellingham Herald, in literary journals across the country, and is author of the poetry book Heavy Lead Birdsong.
