Soldering 101

Interested in learning how to work with non-ferrous metal (without iron) to create jewelry and other works of art? Then join us for this workshop that will give you the skills and confidence to dive into this fun craft! Instructor Judith Gauthier will demonstrate eight exercises using copper and brass to highlight the many ways you can solder metals together. Then you'll practice each one, gaining the fundamental skills of connecting metals using a torch and solder. This is a great class for beginners as well as those who are rusty in soldering and want to feel more ready to move back into this amazing medium.
