The Art of the Mocktail

Learn to mix refreshing, seasonal, nonalcoholic drinks using everyday pantry staples. Tera Richardson, head bartender at Elk Street Tavern, shares the shaking, stirring, and balancing techniques behind a great cocktail--minus the booze. You'll work through shrubs, cordials, syrups, and the building blocks of a balanced mocktail using locally sourced ingredients. Tera has spent three years working at Redlight and Elk Street Tavern, developing recipes and curating Elk Street's menu. She now brings that craft to your home bar. Demonstration.

Parking is available behind the Connections classroom. When pulling in from E. Holly St., drive down the alley between the classroom and the Shell gas station; you will see the parking lot on the left. If it is full, you can park at Hammerhead Coffee after 3 p.m.
