Explore the Nooksack River’s rich natural history and learn about the diverse habitats that support bald eagles, salmon, and other wildlife. Guided by Chris Byrd, you'll observe ecological changes, discuss conservation efforts, and enjoy scenic views of surrounding forests and wetlands. This engaging outdoor experience is ideal for nature enthusiasts at all levels. Chris Byrd has an MS in Environmental Studies/Conservation Biology. Dress for the weather; carpooling is encouraged. Class will meet in the parking area of Deming Homestead Eagle Park.
