Pressure is at the heart of any great story, but sometimes we instinctively protect our characters. Join instructor Becky Mandelbaum and learn to create a scene that keeps your reader turning the page. We'll look at how to increase narrative tension by applying pressure through plot, interiority, pacing, and more, taking guidance from examples in contemporary fiction and famous fairy tales. Becky has published two books including the recent novel, The Bright Side Sanctuary for Animals, and her work has appeared in numerous literary magazines.
